hi.

  Doing a remote start on a 2000 chevy s10, need to bypass to start, first time dealing with a 555x module can someone give me  few hints on it .

ive always used the 555l for s10s... not sure a 555x will even work..

555x is not the correct module, use a 555L or GMBP
