I need help installing the 555s in my focus. I connected the blue wire to the WHITE/ blue wire in the primary harness and the red was to a 12v fused source. I still couldn't get it to program can any one help?

What year Focus?

Is the 12v  ( + ) Constant?}
Did you use 2 PROGRAMMED Keys to program 555s?
Does the R/S start & run with the Key in the Ignition?
Where do U have the capsule?

04 focus

12v is tapped into the 451m

remote start does run with the key inserted

capsule is right by the ignitiong switch

i'm pretty sure the WHITE/ blue wire on the primary harness is what is the (-)activation input

when i go to program it is the capsule supose to light up?

it says to insert a key and turn to run and wait until the security light goes out. what excatly does this mean? there is nothing that lights up whenever i do this even with the capsule right next to the key or the ribon.

The security light is in your instrument cluster. When you first turn on your key a bunch of little lights and icons turn on in the cluster. The theft or security light should turn on and then go out after a few seconds.
Just put the key in turn it to on for 5 seconds (without starting)
Quickly remove the key, insert the 2nd key and turn it to on for 5 seconds.
Quickly take the 2nd key out and hold the transponder ring up to the key cylinder. Hit the start button on the remote starter.
If it starts up and stays running it's now programmed.
Turn everything off and secure the ring to the ignition cylinder and then retest the remote starter. If it still works then put the steering column shroud back together.

Uh, the light is the theft light in the dash. So it is the car's light not the module.

alright well the security light is above the hazard lights right above the cd player. (looked it up in the instruction manuel) the capsul had to be right on the plastic ring to program right. everything works great now. thanks for everyone that has helped me with this install. nothing else will be said on here (any questions wise) although when i get around to it I will type up and take pics of the install for anyone who needs it because everything works just like it should.

Thanks Alot,

Joe
