Just installed a DEI 564T with a 457G on a 2005 Envoy. Reasonably straightforward wiring. Nothing is working though… here's the situation:

  • 457G programmed OK
  • Wiring triple checked (B. pedal, siren, & hood pin not connected yet)
  • B+ and ground to 564T confirmed OK
  • No status light LED response
  • No door lock or unlock response
  • No engine start response

Obviously I’m missing something. Does the transmitter need to be programmed to the receiver? I assumed that this was done at the factory as a default. Any ideas where I should start to troubleshoot?

well the wire BLACK/ white has to see ground, brake has to see ground in order to do r/s, did you use the diode on the 457g, check the rainbow wires fron the relays the yellow wire has to see 12v when is in ignition, if not you have a bad relay pack.DEI 564T - No status light, no anything - Last Post -- posted image.
