alright, now I am having a problem with the door trigger, I have the green wire of my viper 791xv connected to my GREEN/ red wire of my 91 crx and nothing, arm the system with the door open and does not say door is open on remote or give error siren.  Or open the door with the alarm set and does not trip the alarm.  I did not have a bulb in the dome light so I went and got one out of my other car the bulb lit up when the doors were open so I am pretty sure the triggers are good, just wasn't working on the alarm.  Any ideas???

alright, I tested with a multimeter at the switch and got -5.92 volts when the door was open, and at the brain I got the same, should it be different?  This is really starting to piss me off because the other triggers are woking fine hood and trunk.  Bought a dome light thinking maybe if the circuit is not complete wont work but still not working.

Also the alarm does not reset the previous triggers that set off the alarm, like say I open the trunk and set off the alarm, if I start the car and arm and disarm the system still shows up the trunk was triggered.  Any ideas?

the alarm is a viper 791xv, I will measure the voltage again to see what is up.  Any ideas why the alarm triggers are not resetting, I am going to try a new ground too.  I don't know this should not be that hard!

ok, I tapped into the wrong wire, I am just going to find the frieking wire in the a pillar, also could the reason the triggers are not resetting be because the remote start harness is not hooked up?  I am just going to hook everything up later and I'll see what happens, thanks for the info all.
