I have an 05 colorado.I installed a crimestopper 2016fm remote start alarm combo. And bought the plxr.I installed everything by soder and doing it right.I have programed the plxr many times.Checked over allwiring with mutimeter to chech for power when needed at all the end wire harenesses. And the hood pin brake swith ect.....Two weeks ago was talking with crimestopper and found that the starter output from the crimestopper unit was not sending power out when remote starting. So sent that to them ,they called to say it was fine.Tested wires again and reprogramed the plxr it does its thing with the LED like it is working correct.Still the crimestopper unit is not sendind power out put from there starter out when remote starting. The dash lights up for 2 seconds then shuts down. What would it do if the plxr was bad and should it still send power from the crimestopper brain .Everthing else on the alarm workes fine .For someone who is usieng the plxr can you program it wrong and see if you get power from your starter output from the brain of your remote start.I am not sure any so for someone who knows alot about this THANKS

Is the remote start trying to turn over the starter motor? It should whether the PLXR is working right or not. It just woun't stay running if it's not programmed correctly. Do you have starter kill and are you sure you haven't wired the key and motor side in reverse?

The Colorado doesn't use the starter wire at all, it's the new generation Passlock II. The starter output is only used for the PLXR and not on the actual ignition switch. I would try a new PLXR cause I just did a Chevy Equinox and had the same problem where I programmed the unit and it worked the first time to start the vehicle, but after I put everything away and tested it again, the stupid system would just turn on the ignition & accessory , but would not turn over at all. I ended up reprogramming a new PLXR and it was fine. The problem was that when I put everything away I accidentally pressed the programming switch again and after that, it would not turn over.

So you think that the PLXR has to be working correct in order for the CS Brain to sent out its started output power.

IB-PLXR has nothing to do with the C S ground out while running.

Have you tried grounding the BROWN wire on the IB-PLXR while you Remote Start?
Did you Meter the C S Output wire when you Remote Start to see if there is a NEGATIVE Output?

The IB-PLXR does need to be working correctly to Start Engine.....
