amp 2 sub not running

alright i just bought a amp sub and encolsure package at circut city for $153 i did it cuz my mom wanted it but anyway. the amp is a mtx road thunder rt202 & the sub is a pioneer 10" not sure what it is. but i hooked it up so the amp was bridged cuz it is a 2 channel out put and the light comes on for the ap showin the power is on. but the sub wont run. i cheaked to see if there was wires in the box for the speaker there is. i checked 2 see if the RCA cabes were messed up those were ok. i pluged my mp3 into the RCA inputs on the amp that didnt work. any suggestions i need help

Try two things. Unhook the sub at the amp and hook another speaker up at the amp using differant wires. This will let you know if the amp is good. If this works, hook up the same speaker at the woofer. If this works your woofer is bad. If it doesn't there is something wrong with your wires from the amp to the woofer.
There is no such thing as free installation!

check to make sure the ground is good.  light may come on because the remote wire is hooked up but may not be enough current to actually allow the amp to perform.

I'd check your wiring to the sub - bridging sometimes calls for strange configurations that aren't obvious ti; you look at that amp's diagram.
