I am looking for an amp to push my dd 3510 dual 2ohm. Lately I have been looking into US Amps. I know that the USA 2000 is one of their more popular amps, and I am familar with some of their older stuff, but what about this year's line up? I want to have around 1000 watts at 4ohms but Im still in the dark as to their newer stuff. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you need a Sh*t load of power.. I would go with a AXDD if you can afford it its rated 4200 x1 at 1ohm.. It is a class DE amp. Wich means its more efficient then a standard Class D amp.

How do you guys think the US Amps md2 stacks up to an older 1000x?

Have you considered Phoenix Gold Xenon 1200.1 amp? 1200x1 wrms @ 4ohm (actually 1-4ohm, depends on the load it sees), and costs about 350-400 on ebay. I've been using the 400.1 version for over a year and I got no complaints, it's a really good amp.
