Is it ok to use silicone sealent on a box??? what else can be used?? and how long have to wait to place woofer in so its dry and can't damage woofer mechanisms???

I prefer acrylic caulk myself but I have used silicone too. I always let it stand for 24 to 48 hours before I put the woofer in.

Yes you can use silicone. I use it in all my enclosures. Let it fully cure before mounting woofers.

I like Liquid Nails, Heavy Duty type myself, but I have used silicone and it works fine.

Now if you really want to get anal, I have heard that the curing process for Liquid Nails can produce a gas that will destroy speaker surrounds. I have used liquid nails in the past and never had such a problem, but I waited for it to cure.

I no longer need any sealant, just wood glue cuz my cuts are straight! Type of box sealent? -- posted image.
