I don't know of any in your area, but check with your local community colleges. Many are beginning to offer installation classes. You can also check with your local library for a list of educators in your area.

i went to Mobile Dynamics in Toronto back in 99 and they also have a school in Phoenix too

was a pretty good course to get your basic hands on learning and cost me about $3500CDN for the course

There is also the one i went to called Aucoustic Edge in Oklahoma City. Go to www.stereoschool.com

If you into car stereos you might recognize some  the vehicles. The owner was on the winning team in the first installer challenge.

Would suggest http://www.mobiledynamics.com In Arizona but if you don’t want to spend that kind of money some of the community colleges / occupational centers around here (Southern California) offer classes. But a good way to learn is through experience. If you talk to your local shops and explain that your want to learn and volunteer your time some of them will take you under their wing and teach you
