Just curious if anyone had done heated seat controls on one of these.  The switch is in pass dor and drivers door, they turn off with the vehicle and you need to hit the button to activate them.  I didn't install the r/s although i belive it is a compustar 1wams???maybe...   Anyways if anyonbe has any thoughts on this let me know.    Thanks a lot

I have done quite a few of these, and the best way I have found to turn the seats on is to run 2 wires into each door. You have to open the seat controlls and solder onto the switch contacts on the circuit board. Put the other side of the wires on pins 87 and 30 of a relay and trigger it closed with any availible output you have.

I dont think the heated seats can be controlled thru the data buss on anything before 2003. I could be wrong.

This only applies to the truck platform. Tahoe, Suburban, pickups, etc.

TB, Envoy and Bravada all work from '02 up
