I am going to install a rattler 369d remote start keyless entry system  in an 1994 honda acccord ex sedan. I was wondering on how to hook up the 451 m to this locking system I am slightly confused and was hoping someone could clarify this for me. I know that this is a - trigger locking system as with most if not all honda's. The install instructions with the 369d are telling me to cut the connector off of the 451m that plugs into the brain? Is this so? I have heard that I could just plug this into the brain and purple to +12 and green to lock and blue to unlock. Am I right or is there another method of doing this. The manual kinda confused me. The brain should be able to provide ample amount of power to trip the relay Right? Thank you for any info that could help me.

is there a reason you need to use the 451m for the locks?

did the rattler not come with the standard, Green /Blue 2 wire door lock plug? if not then you'll need to use the 451, although you really dont need this module, the default out on DEI units is negative trigger....

you could cut the plug off but why not just use the module? ground the violet wire with the fuse and then the GREEN/ black & blue/black will be negative outputs.....

Plug module in, ground purple wire, then use the blue and green for outputs. Or you can cut the relay off, cap off the red and use the blue and green wires there for outputs. Do either.

you could also just use the thin wires from the 451M harness that plugs into the brain. (green as lock, blue as unlock) and not use the 451M.

Thank you soo much. So I guess that the only reason to use the relay is to have maximum power to operate the door locking system? I appreciate all of everyones help.
