Hello, I recently posted a question about if the horn wire under the dash was relay driven. They told it was, but today I went to connect it, and I could find which one of them it was. The wiring diagram says its blue/red wire, but I found 3 blue/red wires to the right of the steering column. One of the wires was very thick, so I don't think it was that one, but I could be wrong. the other two are on different connectors. So either it's the blue/red wire on the smaller plug, or it's the wire on the bigger plug, or quite possibly the thick wire that is on the bigger plug. I could be way off to, I need help please. Thanks in advance for any help.

use a dmm and check it, or just disconnect the plug and honk the horn, if it still honks that the wrong plug

Merry Christmas everyone! Sorry but can some one explain to me where the horn wire is? I disconnected like 5 plugs that had blue/red wires under the column but cant find the one with the horn. Can someone please tell me where I can find it.I currently have the steering column covers down, so if anyone can quickly reply with the answer it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the help, but man I can't find it this thing at all. Does anyone have any tips for finding it? Is it part of the harness that leaves the firewall through a big thin grey gromet?

Ok I connected it to the horn relay thats next to the radio. I hooked it up to the blue/red wire that was coming out of the relay, and I tested it by grounding the connection and the horn honked. So i connect it to the horn honk output on the alarm, but the alarm doesn't honk the horn. What could I have done wrong? The output says it's can supply 200mA (-) for the horn honk. Anybody think the horn relay took more than that? If it did the output is probably fried now, so that sucks if it did. Someone told me in another thread before that I wouln't need another relay, so any ideas what went wrong?
