Does anyone know where I can purchase an extended range antenna for a DEI Product? My antenna for my Valet looks similar to an XM antenna. My friend has an antenna for his Hornet that has a small box with a 6 inch or so antenna. He can start his car from a great distance. I can't seem to find this part on-line anywhere. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Brian

not true... you can upgrade antennas right across DEI's line.... he likely has an XHF antenna whereas you have an HX antenna..... you can easily buy the XHF Plus antenna as an upgrade....   i do this for customers all the time....

Or, you can change the antenna, remote, and cable if it's a responder ready unit.....

true, but cost on the upgrade kit is only 30 bucks less than cost on the whole responder unit complete... doesnt make a lot of sense to upgrade...

plus, the upgrade kit comes with the old first gen remote...... not a great buy....
