I recently installed a remote start in an 02 Tahoe and now it is not shifting right. It stays in 3 rd gear. When you use the other key it works fine. I am very confused any one know what the problem is and how to fix it?

power up the 2nd ign. you can tell because when you remote start it the light right above the 'P' for "Park" will com on only if the 2nd Ign. is powered. I had the same problem, find the fat white wire and ower it up!

When you say that you use the "Other key" do you actually mean when you start the car with the key and not the remote? I am just checking, I am sure it is just the second Ignition wire though.
