I am installing a remote starter on a 2002 tahoe. I am using the bypasskit by trilogix the PLXR.. the only question I have is on the bypass unit it has a  blue wire ( passlock resister value wire) that says it connects to  the yellow wire from the ignition harness.. it is a couple of yellow wires from the harness.. ??? THen I wanted to know would they be talking about 1 of the wires in the orange tube.??

The yellow resistance wire is in the harness, take the wheel shroud off add look at the top. The correct yellow wire wraps around underneath the column and goes to the front of the key cylinder. Also, you know it's right if you cut it while the engine is running and the theft light comes on.
