I tried using the TOYDL module on a 02 IS300 for the doorlocks, but its a no go. Tried other TOYDL's I had in stock with the same results. Trilogix says it could be a hit or miss with some models.
The TOYDL is worth using because you dont have to run wires inside the driver's door and use diodes and relays to interrupt the lock detection wire, etc. etc.
The VWDL's, HODL's, HODL2's, GMDL-BP's, Ive used in the past have all been fantanstic.
Ive done many IS300 and RX300 and RX330's in the past going inside the door, but I was really looking forward to using the TOYDL to eliminate this.
You would think that being it a 2002 model that there are no need for the latest firmware. Did I just happen to run across a vehicle that will not communicate with the data module?
Has anyone else have any similar incompatibility experiences?

How do you know you have the correct DATA wire?

As per Trilogix's instructions included with the TOYDL, it shows the data wire for 01-05 IS300's to be Yellow/Red.
I grabbed the yellow/red at the loom coming in from the driver's door.
