Hi guys,  I have a pyle PLDVD-97 player and three PWVL56WHR 5.6" monitors going into a 98 expedition.  I did an initial hookup to see if everything works before cutting up my seats.  The monitor lit up when I turned it on but the the screen was very bright at the top and faded to black at the bottom with no picture visable.  I could hear the sound playing through the monitors fine.  The DVD player worked fine in the house when I tried it to rule out the player.  I then tried a second monitor and it had the same effect.  It kinda looks like a liquid screen does when you press it but it covers the whole screen.  The DVD player had a 12volt power out port on the back which I used for power and grounded it to the frame of the front seat.  Is it possible that two of the monitors are bad?  Do I need to find an alternate power source? Ground? This is my xmas present for the kids and I hope someone can help me by then.

Thanks

Will

Check your ground on the Lcd's i had a problem like that before but i was the DVD player that was bad so i had the guy exchange  it for a new  one and this was a customer of mines but he was also a good friend so he was rite there when i was install  the Lcd in the headrest. His DVD work in color for like abaout 30seconds and went black and white so check if there is too much pressure on the Lcd or if your ground.
