connect an amp to pc?

Lol, i assume you are talking pc, as in computer... welllll computers supply 12 volts, yes. and amps run on 12 volts.   howevvvverrrr it will not be able to hit because the computers power supply is will probably supply around a amp or so. It will say on the power supply. If you want to power a DC amp inside your house you are going to need a serious transformer for medium volumes, but if you want to really make those speakers move. you are going to have to spend some money on a power converter. Also, i dont know your application, but if you dont have a LCD computer screen, keep those speakers the hell away from your CRT. i run car speakers for my computer, but have a old school reciever powering them, and keep them far away from my monitor when i run the CRT. when I use my LCD screen when i come home from college on breaks i leave them there because they sound so damn good (:)). good luck99 Blazer LT.   Yellow Top. I think I may have totally missed the subject. I was thinking using the computers 12V supply. if you are talking about just getting a 1/8 standard headphone to dual RCA adapter for signal input from your computer that will work fine, just may need to turn up the gain more than normal. but you will probably need a serious 12V supply, you can use a battery and a battery charger. or a ebay link something liek that.99 Blazer LT.   Yellow Top. Haha! What a revelation of knowledge kirk! I think I'll use that for future reference. I ran my older pair 12" subs through a friends reciever. I could'nt believe I shook the WHOLE house with just these subs. I think the bass response in my room is the same as it is in my truck. However, the reciever is almost blown because of the subs.
