Amp turns off

when i changed my amp to a different amp i turned up the volume and the amp shuts off then turns back on the shuts off again n turns back on...then when i lowered the volume it was fine but then when i turned the volume up the amp shuts off again n wont turn on...does that mean that i blew the amp??

Sounds like you amp is going into protection mode. Might want to first check the wiring on your subs. What kind of subs and amp do you have?

i have a kenwood amp wit 4ch 600 watts and 2 12 inch pioneer subs 400 watts each

How big is your power wire and ground wire?
