I am wondering what kinda fixes to use with a reception problem we have. Have a 06 Hyundai Sonata with a in glass radio antenna in the back window. They had the windows tinted and it has screwed up the reception quality. Is there a way to bypass or add a external antenna to get better AM and FM Reception. She really wants to keep the window tint. All I can really tell her now is to remove the tint for better reception

If she's not concerned about AM, you can use an amplified "hot rod" antenna.  Your local shop, or even Circuit City will have them- it runs about $50.  It's meant to go on the glass (inside the windshield), but as long as there's no metal in the way, you can tuck it away in the dash somewhere.  They work great for FM, but AM will have horrible engine noise.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
