I've got a new Python 880 and it came with only one transmitter (2-way, LCD). I want to get a spare that has just the buttons (not the LCD one). Anyone know which model number DEI keyfob I can use and where to get one at a good price?

sorry for the bad news, but you can only get another lcd remote.  no other remote works with that system.

I have heard that you can program a regular remote to that alarm but I have never done it.  Best bet would be to call DEI to verify what remotes you could use.

I have heard that the 550 (or some similar number to that) DEI system remotes will work with the 880. I'm looking for a spare for the wife. She rarely drives the truck and I hate to spend the money for another LCD remote to just sit in her purse! I guess I'll give DEI a call and see what they say.

Thanks!
