Hey guys, my keyless entry/alarm is all screwed up. When I arm the system it doesnt do anything with the door locks. But when I disarm the system, it unlocks (or does nothing if already unlocked) and the LOCKS the doors! Any idea why it has it backwards? Thanks in advance!

The wires should be fine, the system has worked perfect for the past 6 months...it just started this crap yesterday.

It is a DEI Automate 3+. The car is a 1996 Toyota Corolla.      Yes it is with the keys out and the doors closed. It is also supposed to lock the doors when I start the car and then unlock them when i turn the key off, but of course it is now doing just the opposite.

Sounds like the LOCK  & UNLOCK wires are reversed?

Does this car have Child Safety Locks?

Are they hooked up?

Did you use taps to connect the system?  If so one of them might have gotten loose.  Also check and make sure the wire insulation hasn't be damaged and is shorting to each other or to the metal under the dash.
