Hi I have a galaxy 5000rs -2 way on my 2001 ford ranger and i wanted to install a microwave sensor how do i go about this. do i just put it in series with the shock sensor with diodes? also i wanted to put a pin switch on my tool box, do i also run it to the hood switch with a diode.

You have answered your own questions. Yes, you would diode isolate the connections, and tap them into your alarm's negative trigger inputs.

Hi just one more question. ok witch way do i install the diode, srtip to the sensor and switch? I was looking at the basic diode chart and it confused me a little. thanks

You want the negative to flow only from the device to the alarm, not from device to device. (same as the multiple door trigger example given on the diode page)
