Can anyone tell me what the problem would be if both lo beams went out at the same time? I have tried new bulbs, checked fuses and even tried checking relays. These both went out at the same time. I do have high beams. I have even changed out the switch.

I would recomend following your wiring from your headlights, I believe it goes down between you windshield washer jugs or in that direction. I have repaired 1 cavalier and 2 sunfires with this problem. Wiring rubs on frame area. It is time consuming but trace that wiring and you'll find your problem. There was a GM tech bulletin on this I'll see if I can find it.  If i remeber right I took the washer jug out innner wheel well liner maybe some other things just to get to the problem area. The local dealer was stabbing customers for $700 to fix this problem.

May also be a problem with the daytime running lights. Use a volt meter on the wires to see if you have power and ground on them. Trace the affected side of the circuit break to find the cause. The headlights should each have their own fuse.
