Hello I have a situation with a H3, I was beginning to install a DEI AM-1 keyless upgrade to the vehicle, and was testing the voltage in the ignition harness, and now the vehicle will not start or go into the gear, the dash lights and hear a clicking from the engine, and check all fuses.
Has any installer have had a similar problem, the H3 is currently at the dealer now. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated
Thanks

Did you trip the Passlock system by chance ? When you say it doesn't start, does that mean that it will not even attepmt to turn over or does it crank and run for a little while and then stop, or does it crank and crank and never stays running ?

You can't use the ignition harness for a source of power for anything on a lot of the newer GM vehicles. It puts too much of a load on the BCM. Recheck all wiring to insure that you are into the correct circuits.

I might have trip the GM Passlock, will not crank over at all, all dash lights up in the instrument panel.  Is there way to reset the passlock, the vehicle is currently sitting at the dealer, I am sweating bullets, waiting for them to hand me the bill.  Thanks

If the passlock system was tripped, putting it into "long tamper mode", you have to turn the ignition key forward and leave the vehicle sit for 10 minutes with the ignition on to reset the passlock system.
Curious to see what the dealership says.
Keep us posted.

Well the dealer said the PCM is out, need to replace the unit. They swap out another one to verify and vehicle crank over no problem.

aemobile, ask that they put back the old PCM for you and see if the problem is still there where there's no crank. I HATE it when dealerships replace things and then they don't give you back the replaced part. They give you a bogus excuse that there's a core exchange or something where they keep the part. If they're going to stiff you for this make sure that they are infact replacing the entire PCM and not just jerry rigging the peice and charging you for something that was never replaced.
