519H, how-to Garage Door

Just joined the group and did my research here. Tried searching through google and the local forum search engine and got Vague results on what I would like to do. So, I just got a DEI 519H convenience module I think that is what it is. I was not sure if the module get hooked up to my garage door swtich on the wall or if it gets hooked up in my car and then controls my garage door opener. I was hoping that I can connect it directly to my garage door switch instead so I can free up the garage door opener. Will I need a relay for this module as well? If this is true, what gets connected to what on channel one output. Sorry for being the NEWBIE here, but any help would greatly be appreciated. This is an image of what I got.
