I have (2) 12" memphis subwoofers (AR-SW12) which are rated at 150 watts continuous power.  The amp is a kicker impulse 652XI rated 95X2 watts.  The system does not hit as hard as many smaller systems I have heard.  The box has two round ports 1.75" diameter-2"deep.  The box is a wedge- dimensions of the box are H1=12"  H2=9"  W=34  D=13.  Equals 1.94661 cu/ft.  Is the amp underpowered?  I did not build the box, it was pre built from a car audio store?  Is it wrong?  Should I get new equipment?

I'm getting 42Hz as the tuning frequency.
I can't find those subs on the Memphis site though, not even in the discontinued products list.
Are the subs single 4ohm?
How do you have them wired to the amp?
How did you adjust the gain?

does your radio have sub control? if not get one that will help but the first thing you have to do is find out if the amp is a mono or a 2 channel just like LD asked about the subs as well wiring them wrong would make it so that your not getting full power from your amp

Keep in mind, you are only running two low end subs off of 200 watts...
Be sure to check all the settings on your amp and on your hu.

luckydevil.. those subs are about ,give or take, over 7 years old; and the amp bout the same. Not a bad thing tho. Its good to see subs lasting some time.

... and if the sound from the subs sounds fuzzy, then you have a sub wired backwards; and or as wentworth007 said the wrong ohm load not getting the power from amp.

........and He Brought forth the "Holly Hand Grenade"........
