I am either going to install a Viper 791XV or a Compustar 2WFM900-AS in my 02 Toyota Tacoma. Of these two, which remote is the smallest? Which do you like best? Pro's and con's of each? Thanks!

size is similar....Compustar has better range, and the remote is a lot more durable. I installed both for years and will recommend the Compustar. I actually have the 2W900FM in my car.

I think the Compustar remote is slightly smaller and has better range. With that said, the new version of the 791 is set to hit the market right away, its called the SST. The remotes the same size but it apperently does 1 mile of range and they claim they have never gotten less than 4000 ft and that includes testing in areas that the responder gets less than 1000 feet at. The reason why I say "they claim" is because DEI has this annoying habit of over promising and under delivering. With that said I always use DEI product and love them, but they build them up so high that they rarley stack up to the reps description of them.
