Eclipse HU display

My current HU is showing signs of aging so I am looking to buy an Eclipse HU. I went and looked at them at a shop and the displays looked like they weren't that easy to read. It was of course in a show room with bright florescent lights glaring down, but anyone have any real in car experience with these or heard anything about the dipslays not being very bright? 2 Diamond Audio D3 12s

I know the newer higher end eclispe models allow you to make the buttons different colors. green is the easiest to read with orange be second, blue in thrid and red in last. "People with mullets live 40% longer"   - Ricky Bobby

I have the CD8445 and it is easily seen in the day, as well as at night.  Great HU BTW!

Excellent choice. Its funny how the 5000 has the 8V pre outs but the 7000 only has 5V. Ofcourse it does you no good unless your amp can handle the full 8V. Let us know how you like it.
