i have an alpine iva-d300 for a while now and the screen stop working; it started to happen couple weeks ago. first the monitor is dead so i unplug the unit and plug it back in and it worked for like a day and went dead again. after that sometimes there's picture on the monitor sometimes there isn't. now, i get no display at all. everything else is working; i can listen to music and dvd, i just don't have any picture on the monitor. do you guys think it is the DC to DC converter that's bad. i know for sure that the touchscreen is still working. i touch the screen and it made the clicking sound that it should. i'm thinking it's the DC to DC converter. anyone can help me with this?? thanks...

I had 2 units with the same problem.  Alpine tech services offered immediate replacement with no hassle.  I have a feeling this is becoming a common problem for them
