Does it take a special kind of speaker to mount the magnet on the outside of your box? I have seen some show setups that have the speaker mounted with the magnet on the outside of the box, how can I do this? I have a Memphis 12" dvc and would like to know if it will work. What might be the ups and downs of this kind on install? Thanks in advance!

Inverting the sub can be done with any sub.  Most people just do this for looks.  As for mounting it just flip it over screw it down and plug it in ( you also might want to think about a gasket this way).  The down side to this is you will lose cone area and will probably be not as loud.
