Installing a Sidewinder 6500esp on a 1992 240sx. I found the lock wire and I seen the diagram here. Do I need to use a diode with the relay? If so does anyone know what the value should be?
It's all fun and games still someone looses an eye

here is all you need to do: Cut the ORANGE / Black wire, the doors should lock, then put one half of the wire to Pin 30 and the other half to Pin 87a, Pin 85 goes to your (-)lock output from your alarm and your (-)Unlock wire goes directly to the ORANGE / Black wire on either side of the relay. If you want to. You do not need a diode.
