I got down installing my new viper 550esp it took me about 11hr.s to install.everything seems to work great i have one qustion when i remote start the ford explorer the brakes lights flash is this normal.

Installing went easy but putting the wire's up was a hassle. Also were is a good place to mount to shock senser so if people hit anywhere on the body with a good inpact it will go off.

Thanks

It's a programming feature....you can either program the 550esp to have the parking lights blink or to stay lit while the car is running.  The chart is on page 40 of the installation manual, FEATURE 3-4.  Here's a link to the manual if you don't have it.....but I think you probably do.   https://www.the12volt.com/downloads/file.asp?ID=266
