the wire is blue at the drivers power window switch ( thre is usally only one blue) use the light green \ black wire out of your remote starter. this will disarm the factory alarm.

the alarm will arm when you lock the car and will disarm when you unlock, but to disarm without unlocking use the blue wire. To test use your multimeter set it for 20V dc. gound the black clip the probe the (BLUE) wire at the switch. it will show 12v. then turn key in the lock cylinder it will read almost 0, but then again there is only one blue wire. good luck. TEST WIRES.ALSO is this a Honda Accord EX or LX? LX models can only be armed and disarm with the factory remote only.

I may be missing somthing here, but where does the blue wire in the door go to?  My question is, it has to go into the drivers kickpanel, and to somewhere, security module (im assuming).. Why do you have to spend the extra time pulling door panel and routing wire??  I just did one of these, and found one blue wire coming out of the door, I probed it, and did not find the readings I expected.  So I wired the remote start to unlock doors first on remote start request, and then to lock doors after startup.  The Accord I did today was a 2002 SE.

My best guess is that the blue wire comes from the door key cylinder and sends a ground to the power window switch.  And then, the power window switch also functions as a sort of computer......... it sends data down some other wire to tell the car that it's time to disarm.

We can either get the wire at 12 volts negative inside the door, or make/invent/buy a piece that'll make data to tell the car what to do........and probably no one's going to pay for a databus module just to perform that one little function, which isn't entirely necessary anyway.

I agree with Chris, and also is not that bad pulling the door panel off a Honda Accord anyway.

Regardless of what it does at the switch, it has to send a signal to the security module, or body contol module (Whichever controls security)..

So which wire does it?? for cost reasons, Honda would not put any kind of module in the door that deals with security,  thus  the signal sent out would not be data, it would be a ground pulse.  On monday, I will look at a complete wiring diagram of that security system, including the door lock.  There has to be an awnser to this.  Its not that the door panel is hard, or time consuming to remove...   There just has to be a wire coming out from the door... And I cant stop thinking about it!!!

i got the wire. i saw the wire coming from the key hole but i didnt know how to test it. it's the black wire coming from the key hole side plug.

first time, i tried using arm and disarm both from the remote and switch to test it, nothing shown. what i notice is that the arm is passive and can only control by the key like someone mentioned above.
