I have installed the remote starter and everything is working, except the activation of the interior lights with the door lock button [not sure how to reach the wire to  the door supervision at the top of the fuse box, fingers are too fat] but I had to rig the bypass looped wire with hot glue over the ignition switch rather than loop  the wire around the switch.  I was unable to remove the schroud around the steering column without breaking the lower schroud.

Can I cut the loop and reattach it with solderless connectors? Or is there a simple way to remove the ignition switch and or schroud to loop the wire aroud the ignition switch the way the installation shows.

the ring that surrounds the key cylinder comes off....take a small flathead put some tape on it and  it pops off look for the slits on the side...also the lever that ajusts the steering wheel also comes off turn it like a bolt, chances are it wont work buy hand so either get a wrench that fits around the groove put a piece of cloth  on it so it dont scratch, if you dont have a wrench youll have to use pliers...
