I am in the process of installing the stock power switches for my Chevy S-10 2002, simillar to http:///.com/ebaymotors/POWER-WINDOW-SWITCH-CHEVY-S10-S-10-BLAZER-JIMMY-TRUCK_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33696QQihZ011QQitemZ320022397229QQtcZphoto

Except I only have a two door vehicle. I installed a central locking power door keyless conversion kit about a year ago, and now I wanted to upgrade to the stock swtiches so I can control the windows and door. I have succesfully wired the windows, however, I am having a lot of trouble with the power door locks.

The unit I installed is:

There are 5 wires going to the driver's side accuator: Blue, Green, WHite, Brown, and Blacks; and only two going to the passenger side accuator: blue and green. They are run back to the central keyless module that came with the kit, where there are two wires that I have never used in the past year that when I installed it the installation papers said that were for the switches if you had them

I used a Voltmeter and saw that either the brown or white wire always have +12 V in one of the wires, when I either use the keyless remote or the central lock feature to change the lock or unlock status, the 12 V charge cahnges from the brown and white wire.

The black wire from the central keyless module is charged +12V when I press the lock on the keyless fob. When I ground that wire, the locks go to "unlocked." However, the red wire that is suppose to go to the other switch wire doesn't energize or do anything. I thought that it would get charged and when I ground that the lock should lock.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I am very confused and would just like to fin dout how to connect my chevy s-10 stock power door swtich to this crappy keyless module.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

ebay links are blocked by the filter. You should post make and model number of the units you are using or find a link to the manufactures website.
