Just installed a DIY Hornet remote start and a PLDATA in my Trailblazer and everything went fine except that when the truck is remote started and the parking brake is set, the parking lights flash after the truck starts.  If the parking brake is released, the headlights will flash after remote start.  The parking lights flash once to confirm remote start when you press both buttons.  Any ideas... When the key is put in the ignition and turned to the run position, everything goes back to normal.  I unlock the car doors before remote start......

The DEI stuff flashes the parking lights on and off while the car is running under remote start......this looks absolutely stupid.  Go into programming and change the parking lights to constant.

Thank you Chris. Can you tell me how to get into the programming mode.  The instructions don't say.

Thanks, Rob

turn key to ignition, turn key off, then press valet switch in the Hornet 4 times then one more time and hold it.(0r 5 times just holit on the last one). then press button 2 on the remote LED will be off. that will set the remote stater for constant parking lights.(LED in the Hornet brain next to the blue valet switch port) if you press button one it will stay on for blinking lights. GOOD LUCK.
