I'm installing a remote start and keyless entry on a 98 Dodge Ram 1500. I used two relays and wired it using the 5 wire ground diagram on this site. The lock works fine, but the unlock does not work. Can anyone tell me what may be wrong? FYI, the horn chirps and lights flash when I try to unlock, but the locks don't move.
And on the remote start, I can start the truck remotely, but when I press the button to turn it off remotely, that doesn't work either.

Based on some testing I just did, I believe I have the correct wires.
I swapped the lock and unlock wires and now the unlock works...but the lock does not work.
I then removed the two relays and installed two new ones, but the system behaved exactly the same with the new relays.
What does this mean? Both lock and unlock will work as far as the wiring - but it appears that the unlock circuit isn't activating (when wired in the correct way and not the swapped, testing way that I mention above).
Please help!!

test the output from the alarm and see if the unlock wire is pulsing when needed to activate the relay....

I found the problem - the harness I am using on the relays is pre-wired with a diode!!!! I cut the diode and it works fine now.
I still don't know why the remote start remote kill button isn't working tho???
