Connect the "third" power wire. It provides power for the pink/white 2nd ignition output.

Thanks Jworm, for that timely and correct advice.

How did you know that, are there schematics for the modules floating around somewhere (not the connection diagrams). Or just experience?

As I stated before, I was starting to suspect that. One would think that DEI alarm instructions wouldn't leave that little detail out concerning the RED / white Remote start module power wire. It states only if needed for extra current. Well, problem fixed.

I couldn't have titled this topic more incorrectly. Sorry.
