I was wondering if anyone can tell me when you make the skeleton part of the dash and fiberglass it, do you remove the skeleton part of it after many layers of fiberglass have dried or keep it still attached when installing it.

it wouldnt be that hard to make removable...just cover it in tinfoil really well before you stretch your fabric...
one of the problem's is there are usually about 500 staples holding your faric to the framework...that you would have to break free with out damaging the dash..easiest way is to twist the ribs with a pair of pliers/ vicegrips...
and second...your frame is usually used to mount to the existing mounting points in the car...
with a fiberglass dash weight reduction isnt really your goal so much as custom curves...so the weight of the ribs is really insignificant anyway...
