Just did an autostart 2300TW (autostart brand). In a 2006 F250 diesel. Here is my issue.
-Press remote start(after tach is programmed ect..)
-The vehicle powers up the parking lights (like normal)
but then it does not power up the accessory, or ignition wires?
It just sits for about 5-10 seconds, then the remote start blinks 3 times (telling you its in valet mode, or cold weather mode bla bla bla...)
So then I decided to try to take it out of valet mode with out a problem. Tried to start, same thing blinks 3 times...
So my next step was to grab another 2300TW off the shelf, hooked it up, same problem. So just to make sure I grabbed a third 2300TW off the shelf, same problem again.
I have a compustar and an astrostart I can put in there, but this unit is hooked up right..
Wires used and tested:
Ignition wire: RED / Green
Accessory1 wire RED / Black
Accessory2 wire Gray / YELLOW
Accessory3 wire blue/green
I tried to hook it up with out using the blue/green wire, but I get the same results. I am using proper relay's for the 3rd accessory wire..

Super duty vehicles do not require a bypass kit. The vehicle is a small metal chipless key.

How did you do "wait to start"?

First I just timed it out just to see if it would work, but then when I pulled out the other 2 units. I didn't even set it to diesel mode, i just hooked it up like normal.
