changed antenna on a Hornet 564T

I upgraded the antenna on a DEI 564T RS unit to a DEI 548T model. I had read that the 548T would let the LED 2 way remotes work both ways along with the LCD remote that comes with the 564T. When I use the antenna that came with the 564T, the LED remote only works as a one way remote. But when I plug in the new antenna, nothing. It acts like the antenna is unplugged. None of the remotes that came with the rs work either. I pulled the fuses for the rs for 10 minutes and left the antenna unplugged. But it still will not work. It will not allow the remotes to be reprogrammed either. Sholdn't this antenna work? Do you think the antenna may be bad?

i think it should work, but not sure of this. both are am frequency. but i did hear that the 548t is not the antenna that the 564t comeswith so it would not. in you case it doesnt work.
