Has anyone installed a rs on a Ford Fusion? Anything to watch out for? Can the bypass wires be gotten to under the dash or would I have to go to the key cylinder?

Is the steering column cover hard to get off to get to access the wires at the key cylinder? I don't have the car nearby to look at it. What rs unit did you install?

Very easy vehicle.. Shroud comes off easy.. Keys have the keyless built into them so your best bet is just to sell them a stand alone system with a smaller remote.

What did you guys use for OEM arm/disarm? At the time I installed in a Zephyr, (same as Fusion) my diagrams listed the arm/disarm wires but it turned out that these wires were for lock/unlock only and did not affect the OEM alarm at all.

I also have a 2007 Ford Fusion. I am planning on in stalling a Bulldog Security Remote start unit. Model Deluxe 500. If I do a stand alone starter like this, do I need anything special (other than the kit), or need to know anything about installing this? Thanks, Shawn

VIOLET/BROWN Pin #5 at connector C - At the SJB (Smart Junction Box) which is part of the fuse/relay box under the driver side dash.
On vehicles with memory seats, the factory alarm disarm wire is found at the driver door module in the door.

I am looking at doing the remote start only. No door locks (using the factory lock/unlock). Will I need anything else, other than what comes with the standard kit? Or need to do anything special? Thanks.
