I bought a Hornet model 560T and I want to install it in my wife's '05 Rendezvous.   I've never installed a remote starter before, so I have two questions.

1 - Do I need to install a GMBP with this kit?
2 - Can you confirm where is the BCM located?  I found a post that states:   "The Body Control Module is located behind the center console. Remove the plastic panel on the driver's side of the console to access."
Thanks for your time.

A gmbp will take care of the passlock, locks are done through resistors lock 470 ohms to ground, unlock ground, and dont pull main power off he ign harness [batt light will come on] use red at the bottom of the console behind the fuse box black connector. BCM is in the console above the fuse block...

If you use a CrimesStopper GM-SL2, the module will do the key bypass PLUS the parking light, the door lock and the trunk open.
