Hi need some help with using relays, i know how to use a relay for domelight supervision but the same diagram doesn't work for the parking lights, how come???  Can someone give me a diagram on how to make my parking lights stay on after disarming alarm, but only stay on for 30 seconds or when ignition is switched.  Thanks.  my e-mail: andrewjchang@earthlink.net

if you wanna use the pulse from your dome light alarm you just have to switch positive, that means is the same just do this/

#85 to positive constant

#86 to dome ligth output from alarm (-)

#30 to positive constant

#87 to your parking light's(+)

this of course can be done if your parking ligth's is positive trigger. like some cars have positive and a negative trigger for a stock relay just use the negative pulse from your alarm and thats it.i  think is better you tell us for what car is this for.

well good luck, and check double check your wires and conections,or the fire will let you know something is wrong.

oh it s for a toyota celica, that has a positive trigger so i would use the (+12v constant) on #85 and #30, #86 to domelight output from alarm (-) and #87 to parking lights (+)?

Thanks for the help, i've been trying to figure this out for a year.
