2001 Grand Am SE Ignition Harness

In the above mentioned vehicle, what is the best way to expose the ignition harness, leaving it easy to work on?

You have to remove the trim bezel a nd the stereo in order to get at the ignition harness. It's tight but it is doable. beware though .. if you have the theft lock on on the stereo ..after you unplug it and re install it you must know the code or the stereo will not work..

 removed cluster       removed radio       unscrewed the ignition switch       pull it out    at cluster area     and then take the plug out

If you choose to remove the radio you can unplug the harness allowing easy access for tieing into ignition harness.
