Nice and clean, I do get that......there's never a need to install a siren just to have a remote starter. And you wouldn't need to carry two remotes......you could just put in an aftermarket unit to do start, locks, rear window, and panic. Another option would be the one-button Audiovox Pursuit PRO-9056/Prestige APS-901. It has a special feature where if you hold down the single button, it'll also unlock the door. (No lock, just unlock.) If you're going to do a remote start off the factory remote, and you're not concerned about people getting into the car, you could always use the unit's disarm output to ALWAYS unlock the door whenever the remote starter is activated.
