the previous owner had an alarm with remote start already. the door locks did not work when i purchased the car. i discovered when installing the system that at splice was put in and i undid that damage. the locks still dont work normally. how do i tell if the relays are still in there if i cant find them visually? the 10 pin connector was unpluged and the unlock/lock signals were cut and the red wire was spliced. there is no V on the red wire(maybe there is suposed to be).
2nd on my alarm there is an input for the door wire + and -(two seperate) should i only be using the one that coresopnds to the wire i found or do i need to find 2 wires for the door plug?

If the vehicle is broken into while remote started, the vehicle will shut down if the brake pedal is pushed.
