I have a 2003 Avalanche on the way with a six cd in dash coming. I was wondering if there is rca jacks in the back of it for a dvd unit..  A dvd unit is a factory option and the truck has the seporate audio controls for the back seat. If there are no inputs how do I tie it into the factory audio system??

No there are no RCA inputs.  In order to connect to your factory radio you will need an FM modulator.  It  will give you RCA's  inputs and it  will work to your factory radio  by tuning  your FM radio to a certain station.  Thats probably as  good as it gets.  Good luck.

the AUX button is usally to control additional things, such a cd changer or other factory options for example if your rdaio has a tape player and you are adding a cd changer or if your radio a cd player and you are adding a tape player. But you mention you will be getting a 6 disc in dash changer, that is probablly what the Aux button will be for.

But there companies that make products like the ones you're trying to use, check this links.
