it has no neutral safety like the compustar, where u have to go thru the handbrake procedure..

do u guys still do it on 5-speeds? wouldn't it be a big risk and liability involved?

the installer just told me that it has no neutral saftey and recommend me not to do it with remote start, well i got the alarm cuz i wanted remote start, omg, i probably end up selling this and get a compustar...

cuz lke what he told me accidents can still happen with the thing to go in gear or at dealership they park in gear or whatever or servicing car or friends accident or whatever...

damn it's so scary..!!! im so confused now, cuz my car was 80% done installing and now he tells me

This system is made for an automatic vehicle only. It states this on page 2 of the installer's manual. If you want a nuetral safety done you will need to use a magnetic switch on the shifter. Even then it's not 100 % , I would suggest getting a unit specifiacally made for manual tranny vehicles. My 2 c's on this for you.

nothing cause you need the possitive signal from brake wire to shut the r.s off /.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
